Last November (2025), the literary journal Moss. published my story "Springtime in Missoula" in the print edition of their magazine, making it available to those who subscribe or who bought a copy. Now, the story is available to read for free at their online site. The story is situated in a small ice cream shop exactly like the one where I meet my friend Melissa when we meet in Missoula for ice cream. The child characters please me greatly, and the underlying subject matter of missing and murdered indigenous women, especially in this region of the country, is of palpable and great importance. I'd like to encourage you to read the story; I wrote it for you.
